A Parked Life is an intimate portrait of one of the many Eastern European truckdrivers living like nomads in Western Europe. He sees the cracks in Europe through his windscreen and the cracks in his marriage on his phone.

Earlier this year, the documentary already won the Young Europeans Award at FIPADOC 2022. The film already screened at several international festivals such as Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Docville Leuven, DocPoint Tallinn and Crossing Europe in 2022.

"A Parked Life" is an intimate portrait of one of the many Eastern European truck drivers who live as nomads in Western Europe. He sees the cracks in Europe through his windscreen and the cracks in his marriage on his phone. The film is a production of Savage Film (BE) in co-production with Docmakers and will be shown in Dutch cinemas from 18 August (release: Cinema Delicatessen).
